Our time together in Athens came to a close with a luminous sharing of the dances we had woven over the past two weeks — a celebration of spirit, movement, and connection. The evening continued with a delicious meal, made even sweeter by the company of our Greek friends whose songs filled the night with joy.
It was an honor and a blessing to be embraced by such a warm and beautiful community. Our small circle of participants shone brightly, dancing with boundless creativity and heartfelt expression, alongside my extraordinary dancers — Rosy, Kat, and Colleen.
From the depths of my heart, thank you for reminding me why we dance.

END OF FIRST WEEK
What a Week!
Spending our days at the Duncan Center has been nothing short of magical—immersed in the healing energy of Isadora Duncan’s legacy, the warmth of the space, and yes, the ever-watchful (and adorable) cats who keep us company!
We’re lucky to have a truly wonderful group of international students, each one blossoming day by day. This week, we explored the depth of Delsarte principles and how they inform and enhance the Duncan technique and style. We also dove into repertory set to the sublime music of Christoph Willibald Gluck, uncovering new layers of expression and connection with every phrase.
Today we rest—and tomorrow, an exciting journey to the ancient city of Delphi awaits us. Stay tuned… there's so much more to come!
FIRST WEEK
Here we are—kicking off our first week of the dance workshop, surrounded by happy and talented people, all ready to move and create! We’re spending the week dancing at the beautiful Duncan Dance Center in Athens, a truly inspiring space.
Our days begin with a Delsarte class, followed by a Duncan technique session, and then we immerse ourselves in Duncan repertory for the rest of the afternoon. It’s a week filled with energy, artistry, and the joy of dance!
